Below is a brief sketch of how the teaching sessions can flow.
​
As you will note, there are four sessions which can be adapted to a Friday PM/Saturday AM weekend or an all day Saturday only. For an event of this type, we usually receive a $1500-$2000 honorarium according to what is comfortable to your particular ministry’s budget. This may be paid to William Deagle Ministries, Inc. which is our non-profit organization. We use this non-profit primarily to minister to local pastors in Tanzania and Kenya as well as conduct marriage retreats for these pastors and their spouses. Please let us know if you have any questions or if there are any follow up conversations which would be helpful in your planning.
FRIDAY/SATURDAY Schedule

This is ideal if you want to create a “date night” style weekend or a stay at home marriage weekend. Consider a sit down dinner Friday night or a dessert fellowship before the first session begins.
Friday Evening:
6:30pm - 7:00pm: Dessert Fellowship
7:00pm - 8:00pm: Session I: Portrait of a Healthy Marriage (-50 min.) with Q&A or discussion time
8:00 - 8:30pm: The Reactive Cycle/Saturday teaser
*Provide handout to be completed at home and brought back on Saturday.
Saturday Morning:
8:30am - 9:00am: Coffee and Pastries
9:00am - 9:45am: Session II: The Reactive Cycle Teaching - Identifying Buttons (5 minutes for re-evaluation of your buttons and identifying your personal cycle)
9:45am - 10:00am: Break
10:00am - 10:45am: The Care Cycle Teaching with Q&A
10:45am - 11:00am: Break
11:00am - 12:00pm: Session III: Heart Talk- Communication that Validates (Built in time at the table for practicing a Heart Talk with your spouse)
12:00pm - 12:30pm: Wrapping Up- Q&A and discussion time
SATURDAY ONLY Schedule
8:30am - 9:00am: Welcome Fellowship with coffee/pastries
9:00am - 10:00am: Session I: Portrait of a Healthy Marriage (-50 min.) with Q&A or discussion time
10:00am - 10:15am: Break*
*Handout number one will be handed out during the break and used for the following session.
10:15am - 10:45am: Session II: The Reactive Cycle Teaching - Identifying Buttons (5-10 minutes for identifying “buttons” and completing handouts at your table.)
10:45am - 11:15am: The Care Cycle Teaching with Q&A
11:15am - 11:30am: Questions and Discussion
11:30am - 1:00pm: Break for lunch (This could be catered in or provided by the church according to availability)
1:00pm - 2:00pm: Session III: Heart Talk- Communication that Validates (Built in time at the table for practicing a Heart Talk with your spouse)
2:00pm - 3:00pm: Session IV: Work Talk- How to have a win-win conversation (Practice time at the table.)
3:00pm - 3:30pm: Wrapping Up- Q&A and discussion time
